Chambord, the classic French press Coffee maker designed in the fifties, is a true original. We continue to produce it with the same meticulous craftsmanship as we did with the original model. The steel frame and lid go through multiple Chrome Plating processes to achieve a durable, shiny surface that will withstand years of heavy use. The only change in the production process since the fifties is our dedication to environmentally friendly manufacturing practices, particularly during the Chrome Plating stage.

The black CHAMBORD polypropylene handle has a matte finish that offers a comfortable grip while serving and enhances the timeless quality of the design. The French press system remains the simplest and most effective way to brew a superb cup of Coffee. Using fresh, coarsely ground beans with water at 92 to 96 degrees Celsius brings out the best in all types of Coffee.

Keep in mind that using a grind that is too coarse, insufficient coffee, or not tamping the grounds enough before brewing can result in inadequate pressure for a proper brew. Additionally, it is essential to recognize that the amount of espresso extracted will vary depending on the grind size and quantity. Some reprogramming may be necessary when adjusting these variables.

Before the first use, wash the French press in warm, soapy water and ensure it is thoroughly dried. This will help maintain the quality and longevity of your Chambord Coffee maker for years to come.
